A municipal election will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 for three Council Member seats. This will be an in-person election at the City Park Building – 655 East Potomac Street. Polls are open from 8am-8pm.

My family moved here in 2017. I have been on the city council for 2 years. I am
a Parts Director for a multiple product line dealership in Winchester, VA. I used
to be an avid runner and completed 1 marathon and several half marathons. I
enjoy time on my motorcycle and I appreciate a good craft cocktail, though not
at the same time.

I am 57, and I have been a resident of Brunswick for 13 years now. I am
a husband, father, step-father, grandfather, and adoptive parent. I have been
employed as a senior analyst and programmer by a federal contracting firm
since 1988, with occasional sidelines in home improvement, and antique dealing.

I am U.S Marine Corps Combat Veteran who served in Afghanistan.
I was born and raised in Maryland and found my way back to the State after
being stationed in California. I bring experience working with diverse groups
through my full time career as a Federal Employee. My wife and I moved to
Brunswick in 2020, we have two dogs and a cat. We enjoy the outdoor spaces
that Brunswick has to offer including the Towpath and the paved paths through
Brunswick Crossing. Running Statement: I am running for City Council because
I believe in strong civic engagement and I think the unique skills I gained in the
Marine Corps will allow me to continue to grow Brunswick and attract more
people to live, work, and visit here in the future.
