Call to Order at 4:35 PM
Treasurer Report: Teri Pizzlola gave the report and it was approved as written. The treasurer report is on file with the Treasurer and is available on request.
Old Business: Committee Reports:
Membership Report: Debbie Robinette reported GBACC currently has 88 members with seven new members since January 1st. Billing has been completed for the month of April.
Advertising/Promotions:
• The back page of the Brunswick Citizen will be the business opportunity for April 2014. The next advertising opportunity will be the Frederick News Post insert.
• The GBACC Brunswick Campground Brochure is completed and should go to press soon.
Special Events:
• New Member Reception will be May 21st from 5 to 7 PM at Beans in the Belfry.
The GBACC Summer Business Card Exchange Picnic will be June 18th at Grasshopper Perennials. Members are encouraged to bring their families and some former members of GBACC will be invited.
• Expo – Ellis discussed the next Brunswick Business Expo and asked if the board would like to do it again this year or skip a year. It was agreed keeping as a yearly event will attract more attendees. Mid-October was suggested for a date. It was also suggested that holding it on a Saturday evening could be considered.
Tourism Committee: This committee will be shelved until a chair can be found.
New Business:
The 2014 Budget was to be discussed and the 2013 Budget will be adopted with the addition of State Farm Insurance $375.00.
