Call to Order at 4:30 PM
Treasurer Report: Teri Pizzlola gave the report and it was approved as written. The treasurer’s report is on file with the Treasurer and is available on request.
Old Business: Committee Reports:
Membership Report: Debbie Robinette is out of town so no report was given.
Advertising/Promotions:
• The Frederick News Post insert is still not sold out.
• The Brunswick Business Directory estimated delivery in early July.
Special Events:
• The GBACC Summer Business Card Exchange Picnic was postponed until June 25th at Grasshopper Perennials. Members are encouraged to bring their families.
• Expo – Ellis discussed the Brunswick Business Expo Committee recommendations for the event. The Brunswick Economic Development Commission recommended the Expo be at the Brunswick Fire Department on Saturday, November 8th from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
There will be another working group meeting in early July. In order to involve Lovettsville, it may be held there. The GBACC Board approved with a motion from Jerry and a second from Teri.
New Business:
Ellis reported on the Billboard at the corner of Petersville Road and Souder Road. Pleasants Development has cleared the area in front of the billboard so now a decision should be made on how it will appear. Ellis showed a copy of an idea he has for the billboard and everyone agreed it was very good.
