Mooseheart Lofts LLC has recently purchased the formerly Moose Building on E Potomac Street, with plans to convert it into a multi-unit residential building. The building requires significant capital investment  because of its current state of disrepair and major structural deficiencies. The Company believes that a market exists for professionally managed, amenities-rich, boutique rental offering for people with active  lifestyles who don’t need large living spaces and yards. Young people and empty-nesters with active lifestyles would be target tenants. Located at walking distance to downtown core as well as mass transit, the  building will greatly help the City’s efforts to revitalize downtown by housing new residents.
